The debut year of the Western Canada Redhawks has easily upheld its legendary expectations. The senior boys basketball program certainly wasn’t an exception to these standards. They featured several “athletes to watch” including Max Behrman – the swift and impressive 6’5” wing, Brandon Sandhu - the dynamic “tough to handle” starting point guard, and Marko Zivak – the clever up-and-coming grade 11.

At the first annual Redhawks Invitational Tournament (RIT), the boys lit it up, according to head coach Steve Wiebe, “The energy of the crowd, having the whole school behind us, and the guys performing under that pressure was fun to see. So that was a great moment.”

This 2015 season has been one to remember and there’s nothing but good things in store for this talented group.
