The Senior Girls’ Basketball Team at Western has a longstanding tradition of victory and distinction. Over the past five years, the girls have won two provincial championships and one Div. 1 City Championship. The team quickly became known for their diligence, quick comebacks, strong defensive ability and sportsmanship.

Coach Brady hopes to be remembered as “a team that was defensive, quick, classy and never gives up.”

This year the girls made us proud by winning the Sr. Redhawks Invitational Tournament, finishing second in division 1 with a 9-1 record, going to the city semifinal game, and being seeded fifth at the ASAA 4A Provincial Championships.
