Redhawks football is long standing program at Western Canada High School.

Coach Sokolan heads the Senior program alongside many student trainers and managers and Coach Phillips leads the junior team. Football is an important sport for Western Canada High School, with many students making the trek out to Shouldice Athletic Park every Friday to watch their games.

Redhawks alumni have gone on to play for Universities across Canada and CFL teams as well, most recently Chris Best and Matt Webster of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The team aims to be encouraging and respectful when they compete against other Calgary high schools, and consistently support their own teammates. The sense of camaraderie is palpable amongst the Redhawks family.

Redhawks football is a staple at Western Canada High School and is anticipating another great season in the fall of 2015.
